California Producers regarding Geovera Insurance Policyholders:
- Effective March
21st, our maximum available ”Combined Single Limit”
per risk location will be
increased from
$1,000,000 to $1,500,000 for new business and $2,000,000 for
renewal business for both our Standard and Comprehensive
products.
- The
“demand surge,” which is a factor included in our coverage
calculation to take into account the increased costs to repair or
replace homes following a natural disaster, will be increased by 5% for homes with 3501+
square footage for both the Standard and Comprehensive
products.
- Updated
information concerning year built and square footage will be
applied to the valuation calculation for GeoVera’s Standard
policies and Pacific
Select Property’s Premier and Security policies. The increase in coverage as a
result of this revision will range from 3% to 20% based on the
age and square footage of the dwelling. This revision is necessary
to help ensure that homes are adequately insured in the event of a
natural disaster.
